What really happened after was that Dan took me up on my "promise" that after I got the countertops, he could get his new plasma TV. So we have that, too. Not exactly fair since I worked hard and long to save for these. But we're all happy. Now we have to spend our money on things that are actually broken or need to be fixed. That's not so much fun. But really, these countertops make it a lot easier to keep the kitchen clean. Not only am I motivated because I want it to be beautiful, but you could NOT get the grout in that tile clean! So we beauty and functionality. Seriously, I'm happy.

Those countertops are gorgeous! congrats! I would say that i am jealous, but really i am just jealous that you can see your countertops...i seem to never get caught up on the dishes!
I'm not caught up on dishes either:( The sink is REALLY deep so if you stand at the right angle to take a picture, you can't see them:)
That looks awesome! You're kitchen is REALLY cute! I love all the magnets on the fridge too! And why do you have two home phones in there when you don't use either???
