She's here! Whoever she is. Yes, it's true, Melissa still has not come to her senses and chosen one of my super terrific names such as Matea ( my favorite), Isabella, Ciel, Sophia, or Audrey (another favorite). The nurses are all calling her Miss Perkins, (wierd!). So for all of the women reading I'll give the details (the ones men only pretend to be interested in).
Melissa's water broke at 5:30 am. Only an hour and a half before we were scheduled to go in. Melissa said she wished she had filmed my reaction. I've never woken up so quickly. We were at the hospital minutes later. A few contractions, a few pushes - literally and the baby was born at 8:12 am weighing 6 lbs. 15 oz. and 19.5 in. long. She cried right away and both Melissa and baby are doing well. (I'm fine too, just incase you wanted to know :) More to come. . .

Hooray! Congratulations and welcome to the world Miss Perkins! :) Maybe let the girls decide? It might end up Dora, Hannah, or Carly though. :) Then again those are nice names!

Congratulations!!! Thanks for posting Dan so we could all hear the good news! Sounds like Friday the 13th was good luck for you guys! I hope you have better luck coming up with a name - just stare at her for awhile and see if any names come to mind! Naming our fourth child was rough too!
We are so happy for you. You deserved a great delivery. And she is beautiful. Tell Melissa to take advantage of the hospital time and get all the rest she can. Can't wait to hear what you'll name her.
Oh my stars! How fantastic! YAY! Congratulations to everyone! What a delight! Good luck on finding a name. Fortunately we have lots of time to find one, but I think we'll be down to the very last moment when it comes time to making the final selection!

YAY!!! Congratulations guys! I do hope you come up with a name soon- Miss Perkins is cute, but she might not like that when she gets to school! ;) Here's for a recovery just as fast as labor and delivery was!
CONGRATS!!! So excited for you. Hope all is well and that you are getting some rest. Do we have a name yet? Just let Dan pick one when he gives her a name and blessing at church and it will be a surprise for all!
Congrats you guys! Just to put my two cents in - I LOVE Sophia. And Belinda - the name thing in church is no joke...my sisters father in law changed his sons name in a church blessing to what he wanted it to be...crazy!!!
