Mormon Mommy Bloggers

This is a fascinating article written by a feminist atheist who loves Mormon Mommy blogs! I love her perspective and hope that my blog inspires women to feel that marriage and motherhood can make their lives happy.

I loved that article Melissa -she really has it spot-on. We love reading Mormon Mommy-blogs because (I swear by this) you guys make parenting and homemaking seem like the easiest thing EVER. How many times have I told you how I just adore how you have it all under control?

When I was 16 years old and got baptised it was the single best thing to happen in my life at the time and I don't regret it for a moment. I know there are lots of things I can't agree with anymore and that is why I don't practice, but that doesn't mean that I don't still love the family aspect of the church. At least by reading Mormon mommy-blogs I can stay in touch with that sensibility. Keep blogging sister!

Did you read any of the comments? OMGsh they were hilarious! I just randomly looked at them so I can't tell you exactly where these were. There were multiple ones that said that the church has a lot of money and basically mormon mommy blogs is the church's way of promoting family! One comment said the church will even go as far as to have product placement. So if it looks like it's out of a pottery barn or anthropology catalogue, then it probably is! I just couldn't stop laughing at those comments! So does some of your income come from the church since your blog is just church propaganda?!!!! And where's all your pottery barn and anthropology product placements?
