Bag Tag

I got tagged last week to list the contents of my bag. I mentioned it to Dan, who thinks the whole tagging thing is a fascinating commentary about the uselessness of blogs and our meanigless lives with nothing blog worthy. But there are always a few interesting items--outside the normal realm-- that say a lot about a person. Usually I am a minimalist, especially since I don't have any little kids who need wipes or extra clothes or anything. But I think subconsciously I've been keeping stuff in there so I can have the most interesting bag post and I won't have to tag anyone because there is no way they can out-do me. And plus, I do have a REALLY big bag. So beat this, Sucka!!

  • Wallet (red leather, brought from Spain by my sister-in-law). Interesting things about my wallet: there is no cash in it, there are gift cards to Target and Starbucks (hot chocolate and carmel apple cider), punch card for Happy Meals(pathetic), free movie ticket (Harry Potter 5 a lady had a heart attack so we got free tickets), stamps, and library cards for two different libraries.
  • Red Franklin planner
  • Sunglasses
  • MP3 player
  • Pair of my socks (why?)
  • gum
  • hand sanitizer
  • rubber bands/clips
  • 2 lip glosses
  • Handi snack
  • Anne of Green Gables book
  • checkbook
  • 3 pens, a highlighter, and 4 pencils
  • 2 Hello Kitty notebooks
  • cell phone
  • keys
  • loose change

This was a really good excuse to clean out my bag. Thanks, Heidi!

Sounds like you won't need to pack a bag when it comes time to have that baby - you're ready to go!

Can I tell you that Anne of Green Gables is my FAVORITE!!!! I am always so excited when someone even knows who that is - it was so foreign to me when I moved here that no one knew about the books/movies but then I realized that growing up just a couple miles south of the Canadian border made it way more popular up north! Anyway, my purse doesn't even begin to compete with yours so I won't even try!!! :) Hope you're feeling good! Did you ever get an eclair? Ben laughed when I told him about your comment because that was my one reservation about the name we picked, it makes me want a donut!!! Maybe it's a pregnant lady thing!
