We decided not to tell anyone until we were way past the scary part. Everyone is just finding out for the first time that we are having another girl! I truly thought it was a boy so I was surprised when the doctor said it looks like another sister. Dan wasn't surprised, I think he has accepted his lot in life. The baby will probably be here the first part of June, right after the kids get out of school.
So Katy, if you ever do come up with a good response to "Are all those yours?" or "You better start saving for the weddings now" please let me know. I know people will then ask, "Are you going to try for a boy?" That's what Dan's dad said when we told him. Of course when my grampy heard I was a girl, he said "Better luck next time." According to one of my friends, girls are harder to raise but have a better return on the investment. So far, that's what I think, too.

Hooray! I like the comment that girls are a better investment--you know Ryan is a stockbroker :). I tell people, "One at a time!" My mother in law says I should reply to the comment "Are they all yours?" by saying, "Wait! Where did that one come from?" We are not finding out again, with number 5. People say, "This one has to be a boy!" And I say "It doesn't matter." For, I enjoy my girls and would be perfectly happy with another (the last) and it would just be fun to have a boy and do something different. My sister says I need to know so I can plan. I tell her I don't plan things anymore. So, yes I will keep you posted! Glad you joined the blogworld!
Yea for girls, I'm so excited we're having another one too...Ben said we like our Sydney's name so much that we should just steal another name from y'all since your girls' names are so cute! :) Hee hee...we've decided on Mallory, can't wait to find out what yours will be! I love the name Sadie, that was on my list too, you have good taste! :)
So now I get to hound you when you don't update your blog fast enough! I can't wait for this baby to come and then I can say "Pathetic" when there are no new baby pictures! Just Kidding, I know you will have your hands full! The name has to be Sadie. Your family only sticks with the same names, John, Mary, Kathryn (or some form of that), Sally, Anderson!, so it has to be Sadie! Whatever it is, I'm sure she will be happy, healthy, cute, and funny, just like the other Perkins girls.
HOORAY!! I'm so glad you are blogging - it will be a great way to keep in touch with you guys! We are so bummed that it ended up that we couldn't see you at Christmas - I hope you forgive us!!
First of all CONGRATULATIONS on Girl #4 - that is so exciting and I don't blame you for waiting to share the news. I'm still trying to get used to having four kids myself! I'm so happy for you guys.
Your blog looks great and looking at the pictures makes me soooo homesick!!! I'm so jealous that you can enjoy Babe's Fried Chicken! And I want to run thru that field of bluebonnets - is that the field by the IBM Solana?(Is that even still there?) I'm sure I would hardly recognize that area anymore - all the reason to come visit!!

I TOTALLY understand waiting to tell people. I'm happy all is well this time and that you're having another beautiful girl. I voted for Olivia because I LOVE that name but never seem to use it! So someone should! :)
